May 2022..........We have moved.
NEW OFFICE VIBE....
So lockdown and the current restrictions presented us with an opportunity to move our secure office premises. We are a North Yorkshire based business but travel all over the UK & Internationally.
We have moved to a larger office space allowing us to expand and accommodate facilities for video conferencing and teaching which has as most business will know, become an important tool in sustaining our customer relationships.

November 2020.........New Website.
NEW Shiny website....
Another product of the Covid lockdown is an opportunity to spend time updating the shop front. 2020 has been a dire state of affairs so keeping the mind active has been paramount.
We have developed the website around all the sectors that we work with; being at the top of the google page is, some might say, paramount in business progression but we don't often have the opportunity to push this SEO Jedi trickery.....
We do thankfully have regular and new clients who follow us so we have taken the opportunity for a tidy up with a faster mobile friendly website built by our own fair hand.
The year 2020..........Covid restrictions.
Client Consultations....
We have seen, as will most businesses in our field, a significant reduction in the client consultations.
Spectre Solutions firmly believes that these consultations are a significant part in the identification analysis of the facial features and body features but safety is paramount for both the client and the Facial Comparison Expert.
What is the alternative? Low quality video conferencing snap shots...? Doesn't this miss the point of face to face consultations?
Capturing high quality, multi perspective images create a significant advantage when comparison lower resolution images ... must we rely on 'Viper' custody imagery to conduct detailed (or not) comparison reports? Maybe this is the immediate future.....
October 2020.........FACE MASKS.
We are all asking it....
What does this mean for the short term future of facial comparison reports and investigations.
It is not unusual for a Suspect to be wearing some form of covering over the face'; areas such as the nose and or nose root, ears, eyes etc may well still be exposed; so it is possible to conduct some form comparison analysis.
So in the short term future (post COVID-19) we can expect to see some CCTV footage and or imagery of Suspects ( those who are compliant within the rules) to be wearing face coverings of sorts but generally will the content change?
